We spent a week in Madrid a while back and I took this HDR photo looking towards the Alcazar in Toledo. I'm reading Antony Beevor's The Battle for Spain at the moment and intend to write something lengthy at some stage about the visceral sense of the covered traces in Spanish society. It's a truly fascinating country.
